Tricky trails and breathtaking views to make any biker's pulse race.
From the Tourism & Sport Centre in Davos Platz, the route leads along the Talstrasse towards Davos Dorf. On reaching Hotel Cresta, you fork left and begin the climb to Schatzalp. This is first on asphalt, crosses the Promenade and then after passing the last houses becomes a wide unsurfaced road.
From Schatzalp, the trail leads on to the Strelapass, becoming steeper and with looser stones.
Having reached the Strelapass, you turn down into the Panoramaweg. This leads high above Davos (warning: some sheer drops, strictly only for those with a good head for heights) across to the Höhenweg and on to the Parsennhütte (hut) on Gotschnagrat.
A very difficult trail then runs from Gotschnagrat down to Schwarzseealp: only suitable for very good bikers. From Schwarzseealp the trail then continues with light undulations to Gotschnaboden. This trail crosses several scree fields, creating a great atmosphere.
Once on Gotschnaboden, a single track then leads back towards the Wolfgangpass and finally along the cycle path back to Davos.
