Season:
Forestry Commission Wales' mountain bike Mecca, Coed-y-Brenin forest is home to an ever increasing network of fantastic handbuilt all weather singletrack including the newly refurbished 'Falseteeth' incorporating the biggest feature in the forest, 'The Cavity' drop in and get spat out over the exit with as much style as you can muster! The technical roller coaster riding will have you grinning like a fool, with stunning mountain views of surrounding Snowdonia that'll take your breath away. There is also a new skills area.
Coed y Brenin was the first forest to be developed for the sport of mountain biking and to this day retains its reputation as the sports premier location.
A new centre called Antur Stiniog is now open in nearby Blaenau Ffestiniog. There will be downhill trails, an uplift road, a jump site and a cafe, showers and bike workshop.
The Bike Shop, Beics Brenin is open 7 days a week from Easter until end of October. And open 5 days (Closed Tuesday/Wednesday) 10am-4.30pm throught the winter months.
